Paesaggi e atmosfere filtrate attraverso una visione grafico-pittorica che si sviluppa in modo emozionale, altre volte con modalità e soluzioni beffarde o ironiche suggerendo alcuni significati pseudo-sacrali. Texture ancorate a un ritmo nervoso che le sostiene e le trascina lungo un percorso sviluppando soluzioni consequenziali progressive a volte non previste dall'idea iniziale. Viesi è stato un fedele discepolo del prog geniale espresso negli anni '70 dai Gentle Giant. E nei brani si può avvertirne qualche consonanza. Ma l'evoluzione melodica ed armonica poi vola verso libere emozioni.
Nei decenni successivi Viesi si è occupato principalmente di folk progressivo per, e nella, band "La Cantina di Ermete" di cui si possono reperire alcune canzoni in YouTube e l'album raccolta "De rìder e de piànzer" qui in Bandcamp.
